The guidance provides information on the licences that organisations/businesses need to consider when showing broadcasts on their premises. It is not legal advice, which you should obtain when you have specific questions about the law.
This guidance has been updated as part of our commitment to provide greater clarity in this area following the Post Implementation Review of The Copyright (Free Public Showing or Playing) (Amendment) Regulations 2016.
This replaces the previous guidance on Section 72 published in 2016.
