What we do

The Industrial Development Advisory Board (IDAB) is a statutory body established under the 1982 Industrial Development Act (IDA). IDAB is a Non-Departmental Public Body under the Department for Business and Trade (but can and does provide advice to ministers across government). A summary of the work of the board is set out in the annual IDA report to Parliament.
