Elections Bill

The Elections Bill received Royal Assent on 28 April 2022.

The Joint Committee for Human Rights (JCHR) issued a report ‘Legislative Scrutiny: Elections Bill’ on 2 September 2021. The government response to the JCHR report, published on 18 November, considers the committee’s recommendations and conclusions, and responds to each in turn.
