British Ambassador to Costa Rica
We develop and maintain relations between the UK and Costa Rica. The British Embassy in San Jose provides services to British nationals living in and visiting Costa Rica.
Our work covers a range of issues including representing the UK government in Costa Rica (and also in Nicaragua), playing an active role in improving political and trade links between them and the UK.
If you’re in Costa Rica and you need urgent help (for example, you’ve been attacked, arrested or someone has died), call +506 2258 2025. If you’re in the UK and worried about a British national in Costa Rica, call 020 7008 1500.
