Money Laundering Regulations: Registration

Fit and Proper Test: Identity Documents not provided

If an individual has failed to respond to a request to provide documentary evidence of identity, Registration will fail that fit and proper application, as the business has failed to provide all the information requested.

The details of the failed application would be recorded on a spreadsheet which is accessed and monitored by the Central Intervention Team who can then potentially make any further enquiries on the business, as they see fit, such as enquiries about the trading status of the business.
