Annual Fee: Registration Team Action: General

DTR automatically sends out a notice (Form MLR113) to advise the business / applicant that the annual fee is due. The fee is payable annually from the date of registration. The notice is sent out six weeks before the next registration year ends.

Reminder notice (Form MLR113) not returned

You should always contact the business by telephone to confirm that the reminder notice has been received, the address is still current, and they are still trading.

If the address is still current and they are carrying out MLR activity, issue a reminder and B/F for 2 weeks.

If there is no response within two weeks, then cancel the registration and issue a letter to the customer advising that the registration is being cancelled and giving them a right to appeal the decision.
