Customs Freight Simplified Procedures

Entry in the Declarant's Records (EIDR) authorisation criteria and conditions: general information

EIDR procedures can be used in various ways:

  • imports to designated premises inland where the goods are released by C21 at the frontier or NCTs and
  • removals from warehousing, Free Zone
  •  IP and TA diversions.

Each type has specific authorisation requirements and conditions. Controlled goods are ineligible for use with imports to designated premises inland. See CFSP04000 for more information. Traders are however allowed to use EIDR removals from warehouse procedures for these goods provided all border admissibility checks were completed at the frontier prior to the goods being entered to Customs Warehousing.
