Testing traders' systems: setting the go-live date

When all tests have been carried out successfully, the authorising officer should confirm promptly by email to the CFSP UoE when the applicant is to ‘go live’, giving the ‘go live’ date and identifying the trader by name, EORI and role (if required).

The UoE will contact CHIEF Operations who will arrange for CHIEF to be updated so the trader can operate the Simplified Procedures for which they have been authorised from the ‘go live’ date and will confirm by email when this has been done. If the badge/role is already live there will be no need to contact CHIEF Ops but the UoE should be informed of the date from which the trader will operate CFSP.
