Simplified Frontier Declarations (SFDs): SFD box requirements

The details to be declared on the SFD vary, depending on the commercial procedures (eg inventory linking) in operation at the location and the particular simplified procedure being used. This section provides details of all the SAD boxes that are potentially declared. Please refer to Volume 3, part 3 of the Tariff for the box completion rules.

Some trade software packages may require SAD boxes other than those listed here to be completed. CHIEF will not reject any SFDs that contain additional information (provided that the information completed is correct).

These box requirements remain valid until the Chief replacement system is implemented.
