Applying for Customs Authorisations and Approvals: Applying Centralised Clearance

Implementation of Centralised Clearance is dependent on the development of a Commission system that will allow the transfer of information between Member States, therefore the expected implementation date is 2020

Single Authorisations for Simplified Procedures (SASP) will continue under the Community Customs Code (Reg. 2913/92) arrangements:

·          For export procedures: until the Automated Export System is introduced

·          For import procedures: until Centralised Clearance for Import (CCI) system is deployed.

Using form:  C&E48 clearly marked as a SASP application. 

Please note that under the Code, economic operators must be an AEOC to be eligible to apply for SASP or centralised clearance.
