Customs Authorisation and Approval

Applying for Customs Authorisations and Approvals: Applying for Entry in Declarants Records (EIDR) Imports

This section only covers import procedures.  For export procedures please refer to section CAA08280 Customs Supervised Exports (CSE), including Designated Export Places (DEPs).


Applications for EIDR imports should be made using form C&E48.

The application form should be accompanied by the following supplementary information/ paperwork:

·        Details of the software to be used for the submission of the supplementary declarations

·        Procedure manuals for customs matters

·        Details of any linked authorisations (Temporary Storage, Special procedures)

·        Details on how any mandatory guarantees will be provided


EIDR imports application forms and supporting paperwork should be submitted to the Customs authorities at the following address:
