Open to the public by appointment only.

Please note that an appointment is not necessary for emergency cases requiring consular assistance.

Disabled access

We are keen to ensure that our buildings and services are fully accessible to disabled members of the public.

Access for visually-impaired visitors

Internationally recognised fire and exit signs are located throughout the building. There are currently none in Braille. Guide dogs are most welcome, but some notice of a visit would be appreciated.

Access for deaf and hard of hearing visitors

Hearing dogs are most welcome but some notice of the visit would be appreciated.

Minicom and textphones are not currently available.

We regret that there are currently no members of staff with a knowledge of sign language.

In case of after hours emergencies: please call the switchboard and listen to instructions on how to get in touch with our Consular Assistance team in London. The team only handles emergencies involving British citizens abroad. Examples of emergencies include the hospitalisation, detention or death of a British national overseas.
