Prime Minister’s Investment Envoy visits Oslo

Investment Envoy Mark Prisk MP speaks to the BNCC

Mr Prisk held several meetings with Norwegian business and delivered a keynote speech to the British Norwegian Chamber of Commerce on the topic of Enterprise. Whilst in Oslo the investment envoy met contacts within many sectors of industry and innovation to promote the UK as a leading investment location for growth minded companies and entrepreneurs.

The UK is the number one destination in Europe for foreign direct investment (FDI) because of a range of highly attractive conditions for business and investment. Among other measures, the government seeks to create the most competitive tax system in the G20, make the UK the best place in Europe to start, finance and grow a business, and develop Europe’s most flexible highly skilled workforce.

Mr Prisk asked leaders in Norwegian enterprise about their priorities and experience and assured them that the UK is keen to support their innovation, investment and growth.
