The UK is committed to improving customer service to visa applicants in Algeria. His Excellency Martyn Roper, British Ambassador to Algeria, officially opened the new UK Visa Application Centre in Algiers on 2 April 2014. The new centre, opened with our new commercial partner Teleperformance, is a huge improvement on the old premises and will mean Algerians wishing to travel to the UK will receive a much better service.

The new website for the new UK Visa Application Centre is www.tpcontact.co.uk and the centre is located at: UK Visa Application Centre Butte des Des Deux Bassins Oued Romane El Achour Alger (Résidence Sahraoui).

Speaking on the occasion of the official opening, British Ambassador Martyn Roper said:

“I am delighted to open this new Visa Application Centre and I am impressed with the UK branding. I congratulate TLS on the start they have made as our new operator. Last year the UK processed 22,485 visa applications from Algeria, a 50% increase from 2012. As the Algeria-UK partnership becomes ever closer, I expect even more in the coming years. Ensuring excellent service to Algerians who want to come to the UK is an important objective for the British Embassy. I am convinced this new UK Visa Application Centre will mean a big improvement and I know all the staff are committed to that.”
