Her Majesty’s Ambassador submits credentials to Kazakhstan’s President

On the 22nd April 2013, at the Ak Orda Palace, Her Majesty’s Ambassador Dr Carolyn Browne presented her credentials to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

Also presenting were the Ambassador to Thailand, the Ambassador to Sweden, the Ambassador to Switzerland and the Ambassador to the Arab Emirates.

UK Ambassador Dr Carolyn Browne emphasized that Her Majesty’s Government sees Kazakhstan as one of about two dozen global Emerging Powers and that she will be focused on further developing the bilateral relationship to the strategic level.

Dr Carolyn Browne also said:

The British Government looks forward to deepening our bilateral relationship with Kazakhstan and I will make every effort to achieve this goal.
