British High Commission Nicosia opens book of condolence for Lady Thatcher

A book of condolence will be open at the British High Commission in Nicosia on 15 and 16 April.

Following the death of Lady Thatcher on 8 April, a book of condolence for the general public to sign will be opened at the British High Commission on Monday 15 April and Tuesday 16 April from 9am to 12:30pm.

Lady Thatcher died on 8 April 2013 in London at the age of 87. Serving from 1979 to 1990, she was the UK’s first female Prime Minister and the longest serving of the 20th century.

Lady Thatcher will receive a Ceremonial funeral with military honours at London’s St Paul’s Cathedral. Further details will be made available in due course.
