Members of the public are welcome to come and express their condolences in it on 10, 11 and 12 April from 10:00am to 4:00pm at the Embassy’s address: 9, Desyatynna St., Kyiv.

The British Ambassador to Ukraine, Simon Smith, said:

“Baroness Thatcher was the UK’s first woman prime minister and a leader who made an immense impact both at home and abroad. She pursued with courage and determination the changes that she was convinced were needed to make the British economy fit for the future. Anyone looking now, and in years to come, at the history of Britain in the late 20th century will recognise what a profound influence on it she had. I offer my deepest sympathy to her family and friends.”
