This tournament is a tradition for the British Embassy Quito, and it has become an opportunity to spread and share the virtues of one of the UK’s most traditional sports with the various companies that have ties with Ecuador. Through a raffle sale, funds were raised to support the work of the SCOUT movement in Ecuador. The winners received a roundtrip to London and the chance to attend a West Ham United football match, where the Ecuadorian player Enner Valencia stars, a tour to the Galapagos Islands and a lunch certificate for two at Restaurante Sur Campestre. The 17 teams enjoyed a beautiful morning of competition and fun. In the end, the Help One team won the Cup with a final score of 121. BDO and the British School took second and third place with 122 and 125 shots respectively. The companies that were part of our “Ambassador’s Cup 2014” were: Agripac, Autec, BDO, Bupa, Cervecería Nacional, Chivas, Deloitte, Fybeca, Help One, PKF, Quito Motors, Ron Abuelo, Sertecpet, Tevcol and Yardley. The tournament also had the support of Avianca, British School Quito, British-Ecuadorean Chamber of Industries and Commerce, Dormel, Klein Tours, K. Dorfzaun, R&A St. Andrews, Restaurante Sur and Unilever.
