Details

The report:

  • reserched how attitudes and behaviour vary between different segments of the population
  • reserched the differences in attitudes towards investment in roads
  • looked at the use of the strategic road network
  • researched perceptions of what drives economic growth by segment
  • tested the validity of the existing segmentation model

The report is an update to the climate change and transport choices study in 2010 and used the same population segments definitions.

This research informed the development of the ‘Road investment strategy’ made in 2014.
