The main trends in entries for AS and A level for the Autumn 2020 exam series are:

  • There are 20,100 entries for A level subjects in England for the autumn 2020 exam series. This represents 3% of the total entries in the summer 2020 exam series (718,857).
  • There are 1,925 entries for AS subjects in England for the autumn 2020 exam series. This represents 3% of the total entries in the summer 2020 exam series (70,550).
  • The largest entries are in mathematics, chemistry and biology for both AS and A level.
