An application has been made to the Environment Agency by Woodard Schools (Nottinghamshire) Limited. The Environment Agency are required to give notice of this application.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water from the Sherwood Sandstone strata at Worksop, Nottinghamshire at National Grid Reference SK 59845 77228.
The proposal is to abstract water all year at the following rates for private water supply:
- 44 cubic metres per hour
- 440 cubic metres per day
- 35,800 cubic metres per year
The proposal is to abstract water between March and October inclusive in each year at the following rates for watering sports fields:
- 25 cubic metres per hour
- 250 cubic metres per day
- 1,200 cubic metres per year
The licence will be subject to an aggregate condition, limiting the overall abstraction from both purposes to:
- 44 cubic metres per hour
- 440 cubic metres per day
