The proposed facility will consist of 4 x 12.6 MWe spark ignition reciprocating gas engines and will operate to provide additional energy security during periods of peak electricity consumption within the UK operating under Section 1.1 Part A(1)(a) of the Environmental Permitting Regulations (EPR) for the burning of fuel in an appliance with a rated thermal input of 50 or more MW thermal.
