The Environment Agency has received an application to vary an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 involving substantial change to a permit from Heal Eggs Limited.

Regulated facility type

Intensive farming installation variation application. The number of free range layer places is increased from 64,000 to 128,000. The installation boundary has been increased to the south to accommodate the additional birds and housing. An additional two poultry houses will be built within the extended permitted area (house 3 and house 4), bringing the total number of houses on the installation to four.
