St John’s Lock.
Details
St John’s Lock is currently closed to navigation. The walkway on the upstream lock gates are in an unsafe condition.
The lock cannot be safely operated until necessary repairs have taken place.
No passage through the lock will be possible at any time whilst works are ongoing.
We will update our River Thames: restrictions and closures guidance with further information when possible.
We apologise for any inconvenience these works cause and thank you for your patience during this time.
