The Environment Agency has received an application to vary an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 involving substantial change to a permit from Multi - Agg Limited.

This is a substantial variation application for an extant landfill permit for inert waste. Multi-Agg Limited proposes to import approximately 1.60Mm³ (circa 2.88Mt) of inert waste to infill the extended quarry area to the west of the existing landfill, as part of restoration works under a deposit for recovery operation.
