Simon Henderson has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water from The River Till and an associated tributary at National Grid Reference (NGR) NT 96969 34033 and an abstraction reach between NGR NT 95627 33554 and NGR NT 96924 32949.
The application is to abstract water as follows:
- 59 cubic metres an hour
- 1,068 cubic metres a day
- 10,108 cubic metres a year
- between 1 May and 31 September inclusive in each year.
The water will be used for Spray Irrigation.
