SCL Education and Training Limited has surrendered its status as an Ofqual-recognised awarding organisation.
SCL Education and Training Limited informed Ofqual in March 2026 of its intention to surrender recognition. SCL Education and Training Limited has 17 regulated qualifications. These qualifications and all students were transferred to DNA Awarding Limited on 3 August 2026.
The surrender took effect as of 3 August 2026. From this date, no qualifications offered by SCL Education and Training Limited are regulated by Ofqual.
SCL Education and Training Limited has provided assurance to us that there has been no adverse effect on any students as a result of this surrender.
When awarding organisations are considering surrendering their recognition, we stand ready to discuss the options for proceeding while ensuring students are protected.
