This January 2020 update from the Rural Payments Agency includes a reminder about the move to ‘final’ payments for Countryside Stewardship (CS) and Environmental Stewardship (ES) customers, and updates to the Remittance advice that will benefit CS customers.

It also highlights the importance of making sure your bank account details are up to date, so that we can make payment as quickly as possible once your claim is ready to be paid. There’s also information about how to avoid fraud.

There’s information about the Woodland Support Grants that are open for applications throughout the year. And, the importance of checking whether you need a felling licence, if you have a CS agreement that involves tree felling. The ‘Help us to help you’ section introduces the pop-up alerts in the Rural Payments service. We’ll use these to share important information with you.
