The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Tarmac Trading Limited.

This is a new bespoke deposit for recovery permit application. Tarmac Trading Limited proposes to import approximately 1,153,000 m³ of inert waste material to infill quarry voids to near-original ground levels following mineral extraction at Wasing Quarry as part of restoration. Mineral extraction and inert waste infilling are proposed to be carried out progressively in three phases across the site.
