Details

The previous administration ran a consultation on reforming the Gender Recognition Act (2004) from July to October 2018. These reports provide an independent analysis of the consultation results by Nottingham Trent University, and the Government’s proposed next steps. The Government is aiming to make the recognition process more straightforward, ensuring no one faces financial barriers to applying and demonstrating the commitment to improve transgender people’s experience in the healthcare system.
