The statement outlines how the Government proposes to proceed in the light of the House of Commons’ vote on 19 October 2019. The statement is made for the purposes of section 13(4) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018. The deadline for making this statement is 8 November 2019.
The report is required following the agreement to extend the Article 50 period to 31 January 2020 and outlines what progress has been made in negotiations on the United Kingdom’s relationship with the European Union. The report is made for the purposes of section 2(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal) (No.2) Act 2019. The deadline for publishing this report is 30 November 2019.
