Register of authorised online sellers of medicines in Northern Ireland
Published 24 June 2026
Applies to Northern Ireland
You can use the online medicines seller registry to check if a website is legally allowed to sell medicines to the public, in Northern Ireland.
Pharmacy-only and prescription-only medicines can be supplied by registered pharmacists.
Prior to 1 January 2021, the Distance Selling Logo had to be displayed on every web page that offers to sell medicines to the public.

From 1 January 2021 the EU distance selling logo for the online sales of medicines to the public is only to be used in Northern Ireland. The system stopped operating in England, Wales and Scotland.
