We can confirm that we do hold the information you have requested. We have provided 2 CSV files containing the data requested.
Date ranges for licence revocations
The data provided is from 1 January 2022 to 2 August 2026 to ensure completeness and reliability. The data is correct as of 3 August 2026.
We only started recording revocation reasons systematically from December 2021, which is why the first year of data is 2022. We do not hold accurate information from before this.
Data caveats
Please note that data under 10 has been suppressed to avoid the risk of identifying individuals.
The figures provided represent a count of licences, not unique licence holders. A single individual may have held multiple licences during the reporting period.
The data categories are not mutually exclusive. A revoked licence may appear in more than one reason category. Therefore, the row totals are not additive and will not equal the overall count of revoked licences.
The revocation reason “Other” is predominantly, although not exclusively, associated with right to work cases. A small number of revocation cases were handled outside of our standard process, meaning these will not have been picked up by our search and included in these figures.
