If your business is in a flood risk area, do what you can now to prepare for a flood. Don’t wait until it happens; you may not have time. 

The business flood plan includes a list of things you should do.

Read our personal flood plan advice for core steps to take to stay safe in a flood.  

To find out if you are at risk, you can: 

• check for flooding in the next 5 days 
• sign up for flood warnings by phone, text or email 
• check your long term flood risk from rivers, the sea, surface water, reservoirs and groundwater (where data is available)
