The following changes came into force on 3 May 2021.

36U Modifies existing rules to clarify that a court can order service of an application or order under Part 4 Family Law Act 1996 by a means other than personal service.

The following changes come into force on 24 May 2021.

30A Makes consequential amendments to Practice Direction 30A in light of the change of route of appeal from decisions of District Judges in the Principal Registry of the Family Division in financial remedy proceedings, which change is made in the Family Court (Composition and Distribution of Business) (Amendment) Rules 2021.

The following changes come into force on 31 May 2021.

Practice Direction Details
41B Makes provision for the online system for consent financial remedy applications. The amendment to this Practice Direction will mandate the use of the online system by applicants’ legal representatives.
