The Environment Agency has received an application to vary an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 involving substantial change to a permit from Palm Paper Limited.

A Paper & Pulp installation that is regulated under Section 6.1 of the Environmental Permitting Regulations (EPR) with supporting activities including Section 1.1, 5.1 and 5.4 and several Directly Associated Activities (DAAs).This variation is for addition of anaerobic digestion using the sites own waste water and utilisation of the de-sulphurised biogas into the existing gas supply.
