Introduction
Notice to Traders 56/25 informed you of the introduction of a new preferential import tariff rate quota for imports of beef from the USA.
This notice is to inform you that with effect from 21 January 2026 the quota will be administered by HMRC on a first come first served arrangement.
An import licence and Certificate of Authenticity will no longer be required.
Details of the products and quantity available can be found at Annex 1.
The quota order number will change from 05.4010 to 05.9751.
