Details

The national learner satisfaction survey (NLSS) 2009 is a large tracking survey of learners aged 16 and over. It provides data on learners’ satisfaction with their learning experience over time, including detailed information on:

  • initial choice and information
  • support during learning
  • benefits of participation

The reports available on this page include findings for:

  • the survey overall
  • further education learners and apprentices aged 16 to 19
  • adult learners, including learners in further education, learner responsive courses, and personal and community development learning, and apprentices aged 19 and over
  • learners undertaking apprenticeships
  • further education learners
  • further education learners who have self-declared themselves as having a learning difficulty and/or disability
  • learners undertaking non-accredited personal and community development learning, or adult learning provisions
  • learners taking part in skills for jobs programmes and employability skills programme learning
