The NIC was permanently established as an executive agency of HM Treasury on 24 January.

This document sets out the NIC’s purpose and objectives, and the methods by which it will be governed and held accountable for its activities.

This document was updated in October 2021, following the Autumn Budget and Spending Review 2021.
