Nathaniel Bacon, Christopher Nicholas Bacon, Margaret Anne Bacon and James John Skellorn trading as N J Bacon Farms has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water from an unnamed tributary of the River Fromas near Sternfield at National Grid Reference TM 39827 61517.
The application is to abstract water as follows:
- 180 cubic metres an hour
- 4,320 cubic metres a day
- 20,000 cubic metres a year
Between 1 November and 31 March inclusive in each year.
The water will be used for filling a reservoir for subsequent spray irrigation.
