ICT and digital qualifications with removed funding approval
List of ICT and digital qualifications that had funding approval from the Education and Skills Funding Agency removed between August 2021 and August 2023.

Details
The Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) withdrew funding approval, for learners aged 16 and above, from qualifications:
- in the sector subject area (SSA) ICT (except essential digital skills qualifications)
- in other SSAs not linked to the application of digital skills for:
- a specific occupational sector, or
- a specific entry level job role
We withdrew funding for these qualifications:
- up to level 1 from August 2021 - this did not include functional skills qualifications (FSQs) in ICT
- at level 2 from 1 August 2022
We withdrew funding for FSQs in ICT at entry level and level 1 from August 2023.
