Details

KS2 mathematics tests were administered in schools in May 2019. Modified test materials and mark scheme amendments were also provided.

Please note the MLP papers on this page are not in the same format in which they were administered in previous years. Following comprehensive research into the accessibility and adaptability of the KS2 MLP test papers, we are changing their format from B4 18-point to A4 24-point in 2024. We adapted the MLP papers from the past three years and made them available in the new format instead, so that you can familiarise pupils with the new format if you wish. Please note these adapted versions have not been through the usual rigorous modification and checking process but will help to give pupils an indication of what to expect in May 2024.

  1. Added adapted versions of the modified large print (MLP) 2019 test papers in A4 24-point, so schools can familiarise themselves and pupils with this new format for 2024.

  2. Removed the Modified Large Print (MLP) papers that pupils sat in May 2019, which are no longer suitable as practice materials as the format is due to change for 2024. MLP practice papers for the tests sat in 2022 and 2023 are available in the new format.
