Details of the application

James Fitzroy Dean has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 8 of The Water Abstraction (Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2017.

The Environment Agency has received the following abstraction licence application within the Witham catchment.

The application is to vary a full licence to abstract water as follows:

  • at an instantaneous rate of 24 litres per second
  • 87 cubic metres an hour
  • 2,088 cubic metres a day
  • 29,975 cubic metres a year
  • between 1 November to the last day of February inclusive in each year
  • at National Grid Reference SK 99895 63119
  • from abstraction location Unnamed stream at Glebe Farm.

The water will be used for trickle irrigation – storage.
