Internal Drainage Board Levy Support Grant Determination (2026-27): 31/8477
The Minister of State for Local Government and Homelessness (the Minister), in exercise of the powers conferred by section 31 of the Local Government Act 2003, makes the following determination:
Citation
1. This determination may be sighted as the Internal Drainage Board Levy Support Grant Determination (2026-27): 31/8477
Purpose of the Grant
2. The purpose of the grant is to provide additional funding to local authorities most affected by increases in Internal Drainage Board special levies from financial years 2023-24 to 2026-27.
Determination
3. The Minister determines the authorities to which grant is to be paid and the amount of grant to be paid as set out in Annex A of this determination.
4. Payment of the grant will be made in a single instalment in August 2026.
Treasury Consent
5. Before making this determination in relation to local authorities in England, the Minister obtained the consent of the Treasury.
