The Interministerial Group on UK-EU Relations met on 23 September 2025. The meeting was chaired by the Paymaster General and Minister for the Cabinet Office Nick Thomas-Symonds MP.
The other attendees were:
- from the Scottish Government, Cabinet Secretary for Constitution, External Affairs and Culture Angus Robertson MSP
- from the Welsh Government, Cabinet Secretary for Economy, Energy and Planning Rebecca Evans MS/AS
- from the Northern Ireland Executive, First Minister Michelle O’Neill MLA and deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly MLA
Ministers discussed:
- the outcomes of the UK-EU summit on 19 May,
- the progress of UK-EU negotiations,
- the devolved governments’ priorities on EU issues.
