Details

This Order is made in relation to a complaint that Mrs Wriglesworth, in her role as, Trustee of a bankruptcy estate breached the fundamental principle of professional competence and due care when:

  1. she allowed an unacceptable delay before returning monies due to the bankruptcy estate and errors in correspondence concerning the amounts repaid to the bankruptcy estate;
  2. she failed to verify whether a creditor of in the estate, still wished to receive dividends despite evidence being provided that the debt had been written off.

Accordingly, Mrs Wriglesworth was found liable to disciplinary action under the IPA’s Articles of Association.
