The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from EKFB Joint Venture.

This application is for a new bespoke deposit for recovery permit. This will allow the re-use of up to 5000 m3 of treated non-hazardous waste from the Hartwell Brickworks historic landfill site in the construction of a landscape bund as part of the required mitigation at the Aylesbury Embankment section of the HS2 railway line.
