During these dates (whilst practice for Henley Royal Regatta and Henley Women’s Regatta is taking place) no boats, other than rowing racing boats, can navigate within the regatta course or crew warm up area.

The navigation channel for river traffic will be on the Buckinghamshire Bank, Fawley Court side of the river. Normal rules of navigation will apply in the navigation channel and boats must navigate with particular care and caution.

Any boat may cross the regatta course and crew warm up area from one side of the river to the other as long as rowing racing boats are not impeded or obstructed.

No boat can moor to the bank in the area known as The Narrows or to the adjacent regatta course booms (The Narrows is indicated with an X on the map below).

Only open boats and unpowered boats can moor to the booms on the outside of the regatta course except in the area known as The Narrows. No boat can moor unattended to the regatta course booms, piles or boxes.

It is an offence to fail to conform with the directions in this notice or to obstruct an officer of the Environment Agency in the execution of their duty or to fail to obey directions given regarding the navigation, mooring or unmooring of any boat.

Furthermore, we hereby advise that the regatta course including all of the piles, booms and boxes are the property of Henley Royal Regatta. The Regatta may choose to take civil action against any person who causes damage to their structures.
