Details

UK Visas and Immigration guidance for staff on when an application for permission to stay may be refused, or any permission held may be cancelled on the grounds of rough sleeping in the UK.

The guidance does not apply to applicants who have been granted:

  • pre-settled or settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS), or applicants eligible for the EUSS
  • indefinite leave
  • leave under a protection route (for example as a refugee or on the grounds of human rights or for humanitarian protection)
