I would like to request the following information for research and learning purposes under Freedom of Information arrangements.

Barred List Provisions Question 1 Total Figures

a) The total number of individuals confirmed on the adults barred list at March 31st 2014 b) The total number of individuals confirmed on the children’s barred list at March 31st 2014 c) The total confirmed on both lists at March 31st 2014

Question 2 Is it possible to have a breakdown for the adults barred list for the periods April 1st 2012 and March 31st 2013/April 1st 2013 and March 31st 2014 of the following:

a) Total number of individuals referred for a discretionary barring decision b) Total number of individuals referred for a discretionary barring decision confirmed on the adults barred list c) Total number of individuals barred based on ‘auto bars with representations’ information d) The average time taken to make a barring decision in a discretionary case e) Total number of individuals who made representations f) The number of individuals who were not confirmed on the barred list due to successful representations
g) Total number barred in ‘auto bar without representations’ cases h) The number of barred decisions appealed i) The number of cases appealed cases which concerned discretionary bars j) In regards to question 2 i) how many of those appeals were successful and unsuccessful? k) On what grounds did any successful appeals succeed?
